We caught up with Martyn Hoyle at The Bicycle Company where we thought we’d take a minute and shout about the latest bit of kit to come out of the Muc-Off R&D lab: MO-94. MO-94 is a multi-purpose spray that acts as a water dispersant, light lubricant and surface protectant. It’s perfect for spraying onto your bike’s moving parts after a wash as it gets rid of moisture and leaves a non-sticky layer of PTFE for protection. We know there are other ‘Multi-purpose sprays’ on the market, but the other guys are using formulas developed in the 1980s or (even worse) the 1940s. Modern bikes and componentry use metal/carbon compounds that were unheard of back in the day and these old formulas just aren’t up to the job. All Muc-Off formulas are developed using modern technology and are tested on the latest bikes and components, so get with the times!
